Constipation

Constipation means that a person has three or fewer bowel movements  in a week. The stool can be hard and dry. Sometimes it is painful to pass. At one time or another, almost everyone gets constipated. In most cases, it lasts a short time and is not serious.

Working on these following points can help you get better quicker. You do not have to use all of these points. Using just one or two of them whenever you have a free hand can be effective.
Points (A) -- Crooked Pond
Location: At the outer end of the elbow crease.
Benefits: Relieves fever, constipation, and indigestion. This is a powerful trigger point for the colon.

Points (B) -- Joining the Valley
Caution: This point is forbidden for pregnant women, because its stimulation can cause premature contractions in the uterus.
Location: At the highest spot of the muscle on the back of the hand that protrudes when the thumb and index finger are brought close together.
Benefits: Relieves constipation, headaches, toothaches, shoulder pain, arthritis, and labor pain.

Points (C) -- Three Mile Point
Location: Four finger widths below the kneecap, one finger width to the outside of the shinbone. If you are on the correct spot, a muscle should flex as you move your foot up and down.
Benefits: Strengthens the whole body, aids digestion, and relieves stomach and intestinal disorders.

Points (D) -- Sea of Energy
Location: Three finger widths directly below the belly button.
Benefits: Relieves pain in the abdominal muscles, constipation, colitis, and gas.
